Stop the Bleed
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Bang! As you stand post outside the residence, your principal’s 9 year old daughter comes running out of the house screaming, holding her left arm as it spurts dark, arterial blood from a deep cut she suffered while reaching for a knife on the counter top.
She will bleed out in a matter of minutes without immediate treatment.
What do you do? The life of your client’s child is in your hands and what you do next will mean the difference between life and death.
Are you prepared? In this course, trauma expert Rob Green brings the state of the art battlefield trauma techniques to train the civilian security professional how to stop traumatic bleeding and get your principal, team member, or yourself to the next level of care alive.
Instructor Rob Green will perform demonstrations with tourniquets, pressure dressings, and clotting agents to prepare EP agents to respond with the confidence and skill to stop the bleed.
